The density of the plastic material. Different plastic materials have different densities, and the denser the plastic, the heavier it will be under the same volume. The weight of the plastic product. Based on the weight of the plastic product to be produced, the total amount of molten plastic that needs to be injected into the mold can be calculated.
Therefore, the melt volume of the injection molding machine can be calculated according to the following formula:
Melt volume = weight of plastic product ÷ density of plastic material
